Previously with Murray Malkin Architect, we purchased the firm and continued operations under our own name. Prior to this date, I was employed as a senior architect with the firm, and actively involved in all projects since 1990. I will be continuing the uncompromising client service.

Our services have been utilized by Federal, Provincial and Municipal Governments, as well as numerous commercial, recreational, institutional and industrial projects.

The firm extends its professional services to its clients at a personal, rather than a corporate level. Mr. Silver acts as principal or project architect on all major jobs and works with other members of the design team throughout an entire project.

Lanny L.M. Silver Architect's prime orientation has been towards projects requiring a high level of innovation and technical expertise. In addition, the firm enjoys a reputation for meeting budgets and has a number of repeat clients that include The City of Winnipeg, Manitoba Health, and Manitoba Housing.

Lanny L.M. Silver Architect was retained by Centre Médico Social, DeSalaberry, District Health Centre, St. Pierre Jolys, Manitoba, to build their new Health Care Facility. The cost of construction is approximately $7,000,000. Recently Lanny L.M. Silver Architect has been retained by Wawanesa & District Memorial Health Centre, to renovate the existing facility, and add an additional 6 Acute Rooms, Emergency Services, and Ambulance Garage. We have recently completed a three story twenty five unit Life Lease Apartment complex in Morden, additions to two schools in Winnipeg, a medical clinic in Roseau River and several daycares..

The complexity of contemporary architecture requires a team effort, and for that reason, Lanny L.M. Silver Architect has drawn together an inter-disciplinary project team of specialists; all sharing common goals, and who communicate well with each other. In addition, the client/user is always directly involved in all stages of the programming and design of any project.

Our firm's approach of blending the "Project Team" concept with the direct involvement of the principal, Mr. Silver as the project architect, has yielded an architectural service producing handsomely designed buildings, on budget, on time and to the total satisfaction of our clients.

We have an established track record in Manitoba for meeting our clients' budgets and we therefore enjoy a growing list of clients who award projects to us on an ongoing basis.
